The programme seeks to boost innovative sustainable blue bioeconomy projects in Portugal.

Aim

To bridge the gap between academia and the market. The programme brings together R&D teams with Business Mentors to transform blue biotechnology research projects into market applications, while contributing to a more sustainable use of marine bio-resources.

Accomplishments:

  • – 4 editions in 4 years;
  • – 190 participants;
  • – 58 research and development projects;
  • – 4 teams took part in the Blue Bio Value Acceleration.
