Oceano Azul Foundation has distinguished itself as a facilitator, mediator, and convenor of government, and non-government organisations. This has created a key role for the Foundation, working in an advisory capacity advocating to national governments to act for the preservation of the ocean.
The Foundation has developed relevant work with United Nations, Portugal, France, Costa Rica, Canada, Germany, Fiji, Cape Verde, and others.
